Useful Information
Our aim is to bring the best out of every pupil that attends Bury C of E Primary School.
About Us
Bury Primary School is a Church of England primary academy. We were the first school to join the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust in July 2013. We welcome children aged 4 to 11 in seven single-age classes, with up to 210 pupils in total.
Our school vision, “Do everything in love” (1 Corinthians 16:14), underpins all that we do and is lived out through our core values of Love, Honesty, Forgiveness and Respect. These guide our learning, relationships, and daily life, helping us to create a community where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to flourish.
As staff and governors, we take great pride in our school and are committed to providing a happy, secure, and purposeful environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually. We particularly value the partnership between child, home, and school, and our flourishing Friends of Bury School (FoBS) provides wonderful opportunities for everyone in the community to become actively involved in school life.

Abbey Schools Cluster Area (ASCA)
Our school is part of the ASCA cluster, membership of which includes all of the schools in the Ramsey area. There are seven Primaries, one Infant, one Junior and one Secondary school: Abbey College, Ashbeach Primary, Bury Primary, Earith Primary, Ramsey Spinning Infants, Ramsey Juniors, St Helen's Primary, Somersham Primary, Warboys Primary, Upwood Primary.
We work closely together on a number of projects throughout the year and these include staff training, Curriculum Enrichment days and specific transition activities for our Year 6 pupils who transfer to Abbey College.
ASCA runs a successful Music Service which organises tuition for those children who wish to learn an instrument. There is usually an end of year concert where pupils can showcase their talents. More information about ASCA Music Service can be downloaded below or visit their website: ASCA Music.
