School Lunches
Children can have a school meal or bring a packed lunch of their own.
School Meals
There are three lunchtime options available:
- The children may go home at the end of the morning session (12:10pm), returning to school by 1:05pm.
- The children may stay for a packed lunch which is sent from home. This should contain a savoury item and dessert, together with a non-fizzy drink or cup for water if desired. Please do not enclose 'sweets' in this meal. Please ensure that you provide spoons/straws or any other implement to assist in the correct eating of the food. We are a nut-free school so please ensure that your child is not bringing any food items containing nuts.
- The children may stay for a school lunch. Children in Key Stage 1 (Reception, Year 1 & Year 2), are entitled to a free school meal. The cost for a meal for children in Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6) is £3 per day. School meals should be booked and paid for using our online system, SchoolGrid. Please contact the school office for more details.

List of services

Packed LunchesList Item 1
Parents should encourage their children to eat a healthy packed lunch. Fizzy drinks, sweets, crisps, chewing gum and chocolate are not permitted.
As there are currently children in school with nut allergies, it would be appreciated if chocolate spread, peanut butter or packets of nuts were not included in your child’s packed lunch.
Lunch boxes should be clearly labelled with the child’s name and class
-
Breaktime snacks and drinksList Item 3
Water is readily available at breaktime, and so the bringing of playtime drinks is unnecessary, although a named drinks bottle (containing water only) must be brought into school daily for the children to drink from throughout the day. Children in Reception and Years 1 & 2 are provided daily with fruit or vegetables for their morning break. Children in Key Stage 2 are encouraged to bring their own fruit or veg.
